Where to Get Green Screen Images

So you are ready to start offering a green screen option to your photo booth? Or you need to expand your current image arsenal?

First, I want to make sure we are all on the same page here about green screen images. You must source your images from a stock site that allows you to own usage of them. Do not just type “Sunset on Waikiki Beach” and save the first image you find. This image could be covered by copyrights and you could get in trouble.
So, now that we have had that talk about doing things the correct and legal way so everyone stays happy and no one gets sued… Let’s talk about where to buy these legal images to use with your green screen photo booth.

Shutterstock | This is a personal favorite here at limelight. The selection is huge and the price is very fair.

http://www.dollarphotoclub.com | I don’t know much about this, but at $1 a download… It’s worth a test run.

http://www.graphicstock.com | Yearly subscription fee, but unlimited daily downloads.

http://www.123rf.com | $89 for a monthly subscription, with 5 downloads per day.

http://www.istockphoto.com | This is more on the spendy side when it comes to a subscription, but its owned by Getty Images so its reputation and quality are going to be great!

There are plenty more if you search around the web for “stock images” but beware some have a price per download that can be rather steep. As always do your research and find what fits best for you.
