My Printer Wont Cut My Strips

Your printer is not cutting your strips into a nice clean 2×6 and instead keeps spitting out a 4×6 post card?

Depending on what type of printer you are using, you need to tell it to cut the strips.
To do this you will need to open your printers and devices folder and right click the active printer. You will want to check your paper settings, making sure they are at 6×4.
For a Hiti Printer you will need to select 6×4 (2 up) and you will also need to save this setting in your photo booth software as well.
For the DNP Printers (DS40 and RX-1) you will need to select “enable printing” for a 2×6 print in your printer settings. You will also need to save this setting in your photo booth software.

My Printer Wont Cut My Strips

A common issue with print mishaps is the device settings being different from what your photo booth program is set to. Once both your printer and your software are set to the same settings you should be seeing two freshly cut strips coming out of your booth.
